Estimating/Quotations

Build up estimates and quotations easily. The system permits you to cost in Labour, Machinery costs, and Subcontracts and amortise the cost over differing quantity breaks. When you get the order, your planning and the Sales Order details can be transferred straight over, saving time and maintaining accuracy.

The above screen shows the main details of the estimating system including:

• Company details
• multiple components on a quotation
• percentage mark ups for each component
• as many quantity breaks as required
• notes added to each component and printed
• settled price which can be different to the calculated price
• keep track of estimates by using the status flags

The breakdown screen allows the users to build the quotation up from materials, operation processes and subcontract processes. Generation of estimates is made faster by using pre-stored material costs from the stock system, and simply entering the times for the operations.

If the customer accepts a quotation the breakdown can be passed through to planning without re-keying.

A printed quote letter can be produced directly from the system.
