Prodman - Powerful Production Management

Prodman 4 supports Make to Order operation where products are manufactured only to fulfil particular orders and you do not wish to hold stock.

Intuitive design

The user friendly screens and menus are easy to follow and arranged in the order you'll use them. The software is so easy to learn that users have been able to start using the package almost instantly. The Outlook style menu bar groups the menu according to functions and clearly displays the available options.

Easy to get started

Use only the parts you need. Aside from a little setting up of static data, Prodman can be used with very little preparation. Some production management packages are rigid in their design and operation and cannot be used until all the static files have been set up, and only then in a certain sequence. Prodman has been designed from the start for busy users in the real world. If you want to skip a procedure then skip it - the software will cope as long as you can!

Expandable

Not to be confused with expendable; once you've used Prodman you won't want to give it up. From single user to multiple users - the Prodman system has been designed to grow to suit your needs. If you need to add a user then go ahead. A simple enable code unlocks the system so you only need pay for the number of users you have.

With some accounting packages this can represent a big saving. Some of our customers use Prodman for all their Sales and Purchases and simply link to a basic set of ledgers - Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger and Nominal Ledger.

Because the software is written in Microsoft Visual Basic and the databases are industry standard, you can access the data for your own needs. Whether exporting to Excel, Word or Access or writing custom reports in Crystal, all the Prodman data is easily accessible.

Reporting

Prodman has a wide selection of reports to suit just about everyone. Just in case you have a specific requirement, the Prodman database is Microsoft and is accessible by the user using Microsoft ODBC drivers. This means you can extract data from any Prodman data table using Microsoft Excel, Access or Crystal.

Microsoft Excel can be used for data analysis but we recommend Crystal Reports for any custom reports.

You can write your own special reports, but if you'd sooner leave it to us, we'll be happy to assist.
