Works Orders/Job Card

The heart of the Prodman system. Everything you need to know about a job is in this section. For example: Materials, Labour, Subcontract used. Allows you to analyse a job by comparing estimated with actual times and costs.

Comprehensive on-screen enquiries and reports provide full Job Costing and Work in Progress monitoring.

The Works Order module is the heart of the system where jobs are created and monitored. Once a job has been created all of the costs whether material or labour are booked to the job and can be monitored on screen or by printing reports.

Works Orders will keep track of the following information

  • Operations required and estimated times
  • Status of operation for wip monitoring
  • Material required and used with cost
  • Full traceablility of materials used
  • Time book to job by employees
  • Estimated time vs actual time
  • Job costing and average hourly rate of return.

 

Works order can be created from directly from sales orders or manually without a sales requirement i.e. stocking orders.

The above shows the operational status of a job which has been updated by the time sheets from the shop floor data capture system which uses bar-coding. The system will keep track of jobs at subcontractors.

The above display shows the estimated vs. actual time taken operation by operation allowing easy check of the job progress and costing to date.

The system will print out a Route Card or Job Card showing all the details required for the manufacturing of the components. This includes customer details, materials required, operations, and estimated times.
