MRP

Prodman MRP is a powerful tool for predicting and calculating the requirement for finished parts and also raw materials required to manufacture the finished parts.
A great detail of flexibility has been incorporated.

The user selects:

Product ranges to be included in the MRP run
Variable timeslices - days, weeks, months
What if calculations and scenario’s allowing trial run for comparisons.
Forward visibility can be set to suit the users' requirements

Demand

The demand requirements for MRP take into account the following, in any combination:

Due dates of Sales Order in Sage SOP
Current stock availability from Sage Stock control
Forecast manually entered by the user

Supply

The supply part of the of the MRP uses:

Works Orders completed using expected completed dates
Purchase Orders using the due date and lead times

The system will calculate the suggested requirements for top level and lower level materials in the BOM and will output the requirements for the Works Orders and Purchase Orders, and the quantities and due dates .
